Sweet Voices Fill Chapel in House Singing Competition
Friday 2 July 2010: Stream's Chapel was an appropriate setting for today's House Singing Competition where each House sang Kyrie Eleison (Greek for "Lord have mercy") and a hymn of their own choosing. As guest judge, local tenor Howard Mcguire commented on aspects of each House's performance such as the clarity of language and the phrasing of each song: he particularly praised the accompanists of Patrick and Trinity Houses. Judging was close with Trinity House winning by the narrowest of margins on 20 points (out of 21), followed by Patrick (19), Marist (18.5) and Chanel (15). A fantastic way to finish the school term.
