Tuesday 29 November 2011:  After two rain affected delays, Silverstream's Junior Touch Rugby Team were confirmed as CollegeSport Wellington Junior Touch Champions for 2011,  to go with their Hutt Valley Junior Touch title won last week. Throughout the tournament Stream have proved their strength with convincing wins over  Onslow and Hutt Valley High School B. On Tuesday night, Stream came up against a strong Porirua side eventually winning 7-2.  The Final was a repeat of last year's final with Stream facing Hutt Valley High School.  Half time saw the game tied at 1-all. In an exciting second half, it was tied at 3-all with two minutes to go. Two quick tries to Stream relieved the pressure ( on the team and spectators alike) to produce a final score of 5-3, providing  the Junior A Team with back to back titles.Their medals will be presented by His Worship Mr Wayne Guppy, Mayor of Upper Hutt, at the Big Boys' Breakfast on Friday, 2 December.
