HOD:  Gil Hunter

Aim: To provide students with a pathway to IT courses at tertiary level as well as practical skills commonly used in the workplace.

Computing Requirements

All students are expected to have signed an Acceptable Use Agreement that outlines their rights and responsibilities when using computing resources at the school. A copy of this agreement can be found at www.stream.school.nz

All students are expected to have a USB pen/flash drive to use for backing up their own documents and files that are stored on the school’s network.

All students are expected to have (small, personal) headphones that they can use, at appropriate times, to listen to educational resources on the school network.

Senior Courses

The courses offered to senior students provide a continuous three-year pathway. Students who have completed the standards at their own level are encouraged to attempt standards from higher levels or attempt optional standards to extend and expand their knowledge of computing.
