Duke of Edinburgh
St Patrick’s College offers the Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) at Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. This provides a framework for personal development through extra curricular Service, Sporting and Recreational activities. Gold level, in particular is a very prestigious award.
Typically the Bronze award involves Year 10 students, Silver, Year 11 and Gold Years 12 and 13. While progression through the award years is preferred there is a more extensive direct entry option for older students who have not gained earlier awards. This allows them to stay with their year group.
A presentation explaining the Award is available by clicking the link below.
Registration forms are also available for viewing and download below or they can be picked up from the Main Reception desk.
The program is administrated through a new Online Record Book system (ORB). Participants register just the once when they first join. Instruction will be provided on how to use the system but if students register independently it is important they use their School e-mail address as their login name.
The Registration fee is $86.25 (Bronze or Silver) $115.00 (Gold). Payments can be made direct to the College:-
