Strong showing in Old Boys' Cup not enough
Tuesday 16 February 2010: With fantastic support from the whole school, the Old Boys' team performed strongly but it was not enough to wrest the cup from Town,  who ran out eventual winners 369-279. There were some outstanding individual performances from Stream athletes: Matt Pavitt (Team Captain) won by the home straight in both the senior 3000m and 1500m; Liam Higgins set personal bests in winning both the javelin (50.67m) and high jump (1.74m); and Aaron George and Jeremy Baron both jumped 1.82m in the senior high jump to take first and second respectively. The team now focuses on the McEvedy Shield in two weeks' time.
