Wednesday 23 June 2010: In today's Traditional, Stream hosted Hato Paora (St Paul's) from Fielding in two matches: Under-15 Rugby and Stream's 2nd XV vs Hato Paora's 1st XV. The Under-15 game kicked off at 12 with Stream competing strongly, scoring two early tries before staunch defence by Hato Paora pushed Stream back into its own half. Two tries late in the first half saw Stream lead 26-0 at half-time. Strong play, saw Stream stretch its lead to 36-0 before a late surge from Hato Paora, with a penalty and try, finished the game at 36-8. Hato Paora made a strog start against the 2nd XV leading by a penalty in the first few minutes. A strong run from Oliva Sialau in his own half finished with a try to give the lead back to Stream. A 70 metre runaway try to Phillip Salevao just before half-time stretched the lead to 17-13 at half-time. Early tries in the second half had Stream at 27-13 before a poor tackle left Stream with 14 players for the last ten minutes. With their tails up, Hato Paora scored two tries to level the game at 27-all. Thirty seconds to go and a penalty in front of the posts allowed Hato Paora to take the lead and win 27-30.
